We understand that you’ll probably have lots of questions regarding how we plan and host weddings here at Hotel du Lac. We’ve therefore compiled a list of your frequently asked questions.
What size weddings do you do?
We host weddings for groups ranging in size from 50 people to 65 people, though we can also assist with smaller, more intimate gatherings too. Our capacity is limited to 65 people just in case there's some inclement weather on your big day; we'll always be able to comfortably accommodate up to 65 people inside our restaurant.
Is the wedding planning service included?
Because of the various - and often complicated - logistics involved in planning at wedding around the shores of Lac de Montriond, it's a requirement that you take the planning services of our events manager Lily. The wedding planning fee is included within the €3,000 venue hire charge and Lily is available throughout to help with all aspects of your planning and during your big day too.
Is there a venue hire fee?
Yes, in order to privatise the hotel's restaurant and bar for your wedding party, including our full team of staff, we charge a venue hire fee of €3,000 in total and this includes the services of our wedding planner Lily. This ensures the entire venue and our team of experienced staff are available exclusively for your event.
Can we host our wedding ceremony at the hotel?
Absolutely! We've hosted many ceremonies of all sizes here at Hotel du Lac and we'll recommend a local celebrant to undertake this part of your day on your behalf, if required. If the weather is good we'll arrange seating for your ceremony on our sunny terrace overlooking the lake. If the weather isn't so great - this is the mountains after all! - we'll arrange the set up for your ceremony on our covered terrace. Both spaces can comfortably accommodate up to 65 guests.
