Having planned my own destination wedding in the French Alps, I know first hand how hard it can be to find the perfect venue. I’m Lily and I’m the dedicated wedding planner here at Hotel du Lac, a privately owned hotel on the shores of Lac de Montriond, mid-way between Morzine and Avoriaz in the Haute Savoie region of the French Alps.
Here at Hotel du Lac we host weddings for groups ranging in size from 50 guests to 65 guests.

What can I say! Hotel du Lac hosted our wedding last year and I can only say ‘wow’. They were amazing. Our Location
Also known as ‘the green lake’, Lac de Montriond is one of the largest natural lakes in the Haute Savoie. Formed thousands of years ago when a rock fall from neighbouring mountain Nantaux dammed a river, creating a natural lake filled by springtime snowmelt, these days Lac de Montriond a stunning tourist destination for those who like to relax surrounded by nature. Hotel du Lac sits on the shores of the lake, overlooking its pristine green waters and beyond to the peaks of Avoriaz and the Portes du Soleil.
Hotel du Lac is not just a hotel, it’s a picturesque haven nestled in the mountains with breathtaking lake views. Our experience at Hotel du Lac surpassed all expectations, a big shout out to all the hotel staff and thanks to Lily for making our day extra special. The food was off the charts, our guests are still talking about how delicious everything was.

Our Venue
Hotel du Lac is available to book on a private / exclusive use basis for your dream mountain wedding. There are 20 flexible bedrooms at the hotel, ranging in size from doubles and twins to family suites. Our capacity for a wedding celebration is 65 people, with summer events typically taking place on our beautiful, sunny terrace and winter weddings inside our cosy restaurant area. There’s also a lovely lounge area and massage treatment rooms for your wedding party to enjoy exclusively.
We had the most memorable weekend with all our friends and family.The food and the cocktails were out of this world and all of our guests enjoyed it, even the veggie options were delicious. The hotel is such a special place nestled in the mountains with a lake view, it’s absolutely stunning.

I’ve worked several times with all of the best local wedding suppliers, I’ll work with you to plan each element of your event.
